Good news for the cannabis lovers as fashion industry has made customized footwear from cannabis to draw attention of the fashionistas. Yet not convinced? It’s not illegal. Ethical brand nat 2 has brought a sneaker made of cannabis leaves and recently launched in the market. And this shoe is suitable for both male and female. The upper part of the shoe is made of leaves from polyethylene terepthalate or PET bottles and full grown hemp and cork insoles. The fully vegan shoe is made of water based veg glue that sticks each of these items together.  

The manufacturers reveal that only the industrial hemp is used and they did not utilize and drug or THC which is the psychoactive part of marijuana. Therefore, whether you are a marijuana lover or simply a fashion trend follower, everyone can wear the beautiful shoe alike.  

Further, the company asserts that another intention is also fulfilled with this shoe. The completely vegan shoe made of cannabis leaves give them an opportunity to show that shoes can be made from alternatives other than animal ingredients. The large variety of hemp plants further allows the manufacturers an amazing opportunity to launch various types of shoes made of various types of cannabis. Thereby the fashion industry can be enriched with another new feather (we mean, shoe really!) to its crown (or legs, whatever!). Therefore this initiative is another step to save the planet and its animals.
